Tampines Swimming Complex

I'm thankful to Tim for a time at the pool this afternoon and the theatre this evening. The movie, Jumper is something new. Good script. Erm... can't really recall the last time I went to the pool. Life's been so so busy. It's good to be in the pool again. Missed my younger days, where I would be in the pool almost every other day... looking tanned..

Touched & Thankful

It's been a pretty busy and draining week. Thankful for Yong Siang & Jeremy who were with me all these while. Their presence were a blessing at my workplace. After a long day, they left for their cell-group. Thereafter, I was all alone tidying the place and getting it ready for opening tomorrow. Kevin arrived at around 7.30pm to have a look at the sound system. He was supposed to leave but decided to keep me company. That really touched me. And while i was busying with 'tidying loose ends', he sang to God. We ended the evening meeting Kenneth & Joshua near at Kallang MRT. Kenneth then drove us to Blk 511 Bedok North, where Jeffrey dropped-by and joined us. Thank You, Guys, for the wonderful day & evening. Below is Kevin singing to the Lord (with Caleb in the background = ).

Many will be certified as professionals only during the 20-40 stage of life. Once a person is done with the 20-40, he or she is basically half mark to the end of living! This is when many will want to do so-called 'more in life' and not to waste it! Thereafter, one enters into the 60-80 stage of life. This is where many will want to end life meaningfully. For example, touring, visiting old places, meeting old friends, writing wills, etc. The above is real, plan ahead and be ready for every stage of life! = D

OWL's Time - 福

OWL's Time is a term coined a couple of years back to mean "One Word Lesson". The aim is to deliver every lesson in a "simple, short & sweet" (3Ss) manner, that Boys may remember the "lessons" behind each Word. Interestingly, OWL also symbolises Wisdom - Seek it!

An Evening to Remember

We bought a cake for Irwin's Birthday today. It was delivered "By-Hand" to his door-step & we were greeted by his entire family! i.e. his mom, dad & younger brother, Kiat Sheng.

It was a rare and joyous occasion! A picture was taken for memory lane. Thereafter, Cheng Hoong, Yong Siang, Jeremy and myself headed to meet Jasper at his block nearby, to share a brownie cake!

All thanks to Cheng Hoong today, who bought Irwin's cake and the brownie from Great World City (after work!). While having the brownie, we called Wei Jie, who also joined us! Together, we'd fellowship at the HDB Void Deck till about 10:45pm! Below is a Video to Remember... Wei Jie Climbing a ladder to return home! Thanks Guys for "An Evening to Remember!"

The Sim Family's CNY Dish!

This is Mom's traditional CNY Dish! It's a dish that the whole family loves! You will find onions, garlics, pork, mushrooms and lots of abalones! Needless to say, the best abalones are from Mexico! Each costs about $105 during CNY. It sounds like I'm boasting =P Nonetheless, that's not the intention. Somehow, the Chinese are extremely willing to foot a little more during CNY. Hope your "Da Tuan Yuan - Reunion" has been good even if loved ones are not around. For our Heavenly Father is always there for us. Blessed & Happy CNY still!

"Let's make it count for Jesus!" That's what i used to say to others and myself in my younger days. And whenever the Lord led me to a place where it was kind of 'scary', I would often 'hear a voice inside me' telling me 'not to fear'. 'For where He leads, He will provide all required skills & ensure that i am able to do the job well'. Looking back, He has never fail me. i'm trusting God to continue to lead & guide. In 1 Samuel 15:22, it is written, ".. To obey is better than sacrifice.. ". As such, let's learnt together to walk in Obedience.

i heard this saying of the wise a long time ago and it makes a world of sense i.e. "if we don't win their hearts today; they might just break ours tomorrow". This is the reason for all my doing and toiling till this day. For His name's sake and for a better world around us.

But after much thoughts, i decided to stay-on with Starhub's Maxonline Express Plan early this morning! That's because, i feel more secure with Starhub.
