My room-mate

His name is Wei Zhuang, 21 yo male Singapore Citizen, who have just completed his National Service as a Commando Para-medic. In addition, he graduated from CJC and was also formerly a National Judo Champion, beating elite Junior Colleges.

I met him face-to-face for this first time early this morning (at around 2am) when he returned from his Bachelor of Science (Physical Education, 4 years degree course) Orientation.

Interestingly, he seems to be "an answered prayer". He appears to be a very considerate, friendly and thoughtful person; and was rather apologetic... i.e. disturbing my sleep in the early hours. The funny thing is, I had difficulties sleeping on my first night in Hall. Thus, it was good meeting him. We chatted till around 4am before turning in to sleep till around 7am.

Thank God for Wei Zhuang. = )

Flash News!

This is where it all begins.
Yes, it was a long & tiring day.
You can probably hear it from my voice.
AND may also notice I'm recovering from a sore throat.

The Journey Begins...

This is going to be a new chapter altogether. By the Grace of God, when it's all finally over, He gets all the Glory. Honestly, I've zero ideas how I'm going to pull through my "One-year PGDE Programme" at NIE. Nonetheless, it is our duty to "take one day at a time" i.e. one lecture, one tutorial, one meeting, one presentation, one project, one test, one assignment at a time.

Thus, a great journey begins with "one simple step" of faith, trusting God to lead as we journey. May God be gracious to this entire cohort of PGDE student teachers who will begin their very first lesson on 28 July 2008.

To God Be The Glory.

Art of Teaching

"The whole art of teaching is only the art of awakening the natural curiosity of young minds for the purpose of satisfying it afterwards." - Anatole France

Beautiful Saviour

Jesus, Beautiful Saviour,
God of all Majesty,
Risen king,
Lamb of God,
Holy and righteous,
Blessed redeemer,
Bright morning star

All the heavens shout your praise,
All creation bow to worship You

How wonderful, how beautiful,
Name above every name, exalted high
How wonderful, how beautiful,
Jesus your name, name above every name, Jesus

I will sing forever, Jesus I love you, Jesus I love you
