Bedok Food Centre, located directly opposite of Bedok Camp, is one of the 'oldest' food centres in the east that has been fully renovated. It has been around since pre-war time.

You can reach there by bus number 10 & 14.

Teaching as a Profession

Is not for the faint-hearted. It is a profession that demands self-discipline and personal sacrifices. It is definitely not just another ordinary job. To be a teacher, one must be prepared to give it all to Pupils. In short, you need to be really passionate about the job. As such, a healthy workplace, coupled with nice and supportive colleagues will in no doubt keep one going-on for years. That's the way I see it.

10:25hrs - Went to BNSS to tidy-up BB matters
12:40hrs - Had lunch with Tim & Jasper at Techview

14:15hrs - Tai Chin & his brother accompanied me to Orchard
15:30hrs - Exchanged my The Hee-Goer crumpler bag to The Considerable Embarassment


16:00-18:00hrs - Shopped at Shaw House, ate Japanese pancakes, drank bubble-tea @CK Tang, watched street performance outside of Paragon, bought 'The Hulk' movie tics @PS for a movie @GV-Tampines



18:45hrs - Reached Simei, bought dinner & went home, so that Tai Chin could collect his new Creative MP3 Player


19:45hrs - Watched 'The Hulk' with Tai Chin & his brother
Pass midnight - Helped Jeremy Chua to print his assignment & done this blog =)

Believing in God

Believing in God is one of the hardest things to do in Life. Nevertheless, there is great reward to those who believe HE exists. Read Hebrews 11:6

To be honest, it hasn't really sank into me that I am going to PCS for 4 weeks of practicum. To begin with, I was a Kampong Boy and ain't good in my studies. Thus, it is quite a 'shocker' that God has opened the door for me to undergo NIE training to be a teacher!

I felt like Jesus the night before he was crucified i.e. if it be possible at all, that I do not need to go through what HE is about to do in my life.

"... Yet not as I will, but as you will."
