The above photos were taken near to Verdun Road, Kitchener Road and Jalan Besar Plaza. The Nasi Lemak Rice at High-5 is fantastic! And i heard that Beach Road Scissor-Cut Curry is very popular too! Lastly, the "Lor Mee Hoon" at Ming Chung Restaurant is superb! **Credits to Lincoln Poh (12yo) of Stamford Primary School for being my "Tour Guide" to the above "makan places" today. O yes, if you are wondering what the 'brown round thingy' are? I've checked with the lady at the stall. According to her, the ingredients were "flour, minced pork, oyster, peanuts etc...". It's $1.20 per piece & it looks pretty nice to eat. Unfortunately, I don't eat pork. Nevertheless, she can fried without it! I will probably try it someday. = )

Yes, the Old Changi & Bedok Theatres are making way for new development in Bedok Central. This is the ever-changing 'faces of Singapore'. AND if my source is reliable, it is making way for a new Shopping Mall in Bedok! Something to look forward to!

Mr Taxi Driver

For the very first time, i took a cab to my current workplace this morning. It turned up to be a pleasant and enriching journey. As Mr Taxi Driver was sharing about the importance of working hard in life and not being afraid to suffer or face challenges, when one is still young. That it is not the way to go for young people to want to have it easy. They would regret it later for not accomplishing much in life and wasting it away. Below is my conversation with Mr Taxi Driver this morning. Try to understand what he was saying. = )

"Writing autograph" is something that children may do at either primary or secondary schools. It's almost a thing of the past, when a young person is in ITEs, JCs or the polytechnics. Perhaps, it's due to the fact that "Live Messenger" has become so common these days. Moreover, almost every kid owns a mobile phone. Thus, it's quite startling to see "Autograph Book" at work. Nevertheless, it has brought back many childhood memories of yesterdays.
