System Down & Recovering

Woke up this morning with slight fever, 37.7 degree celsius and giddiness. Nevertheless, decided to return to work, as there're things to be done. It turned out to be a reasonable day. System Recovering. Thank God.

Woke up with sore throat, flu and cough. System Down. Seen a Dr and got a day of Medical Leave. Interestingly, this is my very first Medical Leave at my new workplace and 25 September is my 3rd month into the job. Date joined: 25 June 2007

Reflection

We live in a populated nation. People come and bypass us on a daily basis. Some happened to be our loved ones, living under one roof. They too come in and out of our lives. But often, we take one another for granted. Worst still, we become apathetic about those around.

Our world is so populated that "one less does not bother us anymore". What seems to matter is, i am still alive! As such, even if someone dies, it doesn't matter anymore. It's so scary to imagine if that someone happens to be our parent, sibling or spouse and it doesn't matter as well?!

What have we become of? Heartless and care-less beings?

Now is the time to reflect upon ourselves before our hearts become harden. Now is the time to weep if we are guilty.
