It is written, "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death." Romans 8: 1-2. Read also Ephesians 1:3-14.
Before Jesus came in the world, the Book of John reveals that Jesus "was with God in the beginning" (John 1:2). More importantly, Jesus "was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." (John 1:1)
All the above bible verses are "mind-blowing". It reveals so much about God's plan to redeem us from the fear of satan from the very beginning or the creation of time. Yes, God created time. Time does not exist. It was timeless or simply eternity or forever and ever. Somehow, God decided to pause and create time. That is why, it is written, "Through Him all things were made, without Him nothing was made that has been made." (John 1:3) Read also Colossians 1:15-20.
It goes on to share with us that "In Him was life, and that life was the light of men." (John 1:4) In other words, God gave us life or the breath of life. How did that life enter into us is still a "mystery". Nonetheless, in the Book of Genesis, we learnt that "the Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man become a living being." (Genesis 2:7)
Yupz! And now we are here, living and reading this! He is the reason we live! It is the breath of God that enable us to live! The sad truth is, many are not aware. As such, few are even thankful that they are alive! On the contrary, many dread living, find life a burden or even harbour thoughts of death!! Thus, it is written, "The Light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it." (John 1:5) In other words, we do not fully understand the meaning of living! Or how precious it is simply to be breathing and alive!!!
What is the purpose of living?
This is where it becomes a personal responsibility to begin a journey of seeking.
When a person begins to seek, according to the Holy Bible, he or she will find. (Matthew 7:7) The opposite is true, that is, as long as a person does not see the need to do so, he or she remains in darkness. It thus also explains why people are afraid of darkness or things that they know are real i.e. the spiritual realms and yet are powerless to fight them. In short, many today still live in fear of darkness. Simply walk around your housing estate in Singapore today and you will see many doing their utmost best to appease the spirits.
I was once living in fear. But thanks be to God! "For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins." (Colossians 1:13-14)
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen. (Philippians 4:23)
Warmest regards,
Caleb
