Parkway Parade

I have not visited Parkway Parade for quite awhile.
Nonetheless, I went down yesterday to Borders,
to purchase a DVD, "Mad About English".
It felt good and could have been
better... if only...

Left is Right

Question:
Whenever you look at yourself in the mirror,
which is your left and which is your right?

Answer:
Very often we think that the left side
of the image in the mirror is our right.
In reality, the left is left;
and the right is right.

Interesting idea to serve the community!

Carrie Prejean

The Straits Times, May 14 2009
Trump to beauty: You're not fired
"The Lord was in my heart and in my head just saying,
'Carrie, how bad do you want this?
Are you willing to deny Me?' " she said.

Statement by Carrie Prejean

SAN DIEGO, May 5 /PRNewswire/ -- "On April 19, I chose to answer a question during the 2009 Miss USA pageant in an honest and personal manner that expressed my views of the long-established definition of marriage as being between a man and a woman. That answer, and my commitment to stand by my beliefs, has since resulted in attacks on me and my integrity as a woman. We live in a great country; a nation that was built on freedom of speech and freedom of religion. Yet my comments defending traditional marriage have led to intimidation tactics that seek to undermine my reputation and somehow silence me and my beliefs, as if opinion is only a one-way street.

"I am a Christian, and I am a model. Models pose for pictures, including lingerie and swimwear photos. Recently, photos taken of me as a teenager have been released surreptitiously to a tabloid Web site that openly mocks me for my Christian faith. I am not perfect, and I will never claim to be. But these attacks on me and others who speak in defense of traditional marriage are intolerant and offensive. While we may not agree on every issue, we should show respect for others' opinions and not try to silence them through vicious and mean-spirited attacks.

"With that in mind, I will continue to support and defend marriage as the honorable institution it is. I will continue to stand with the overwhelming majority of the American people and the voters of my home state of California. If this whole experience has taught me anything, it is our precious right to speak freely, and how we as Americans can never allow anyone or any group to intimidate or threaten us to keep silent."

Running late

Matthew 25:1-13

The Parable of the Ten Virgins
1"At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. 4The wise, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.

6"At midnight the cry rang out: 'Here's the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!'

7"Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8The foolish ones said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.'

9" 'No,' they replied, 'there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.'

10"But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.

11"Later the others also came. 'Sir! Sir!' they said. 'Open the door for us!'

12"But he replied, 'I tell you the truth, I don't know you.'

13"Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.

It's time to wake up!

We live in a world,
where everyone wants to have a say.
Some out of selfish pursuit.
Others went out to sacrifice self.

Whichever the case,
propaganda is inevitable.

Everyone wants to propagate something.
Either that something is good or evil,
it becomes the responsibility of all individuals to discern.

The sad story is,
many do not care.
They do not think, seek the truth
nor consider the interest of others.
Centuries after centuries,
they simply "steal, kill and destroy" one another.

The Bible said it well.
We have all sinned.

The worst stories of all.
Those whom they trusted
betrayed their trust.
In the end,
a world without
love, hope and faith.

We live in a world,
where many suffered in silence.
For years, they pursued the truth.
Initially, they thought they'd found it.
But, it didn't turn out the way they wanted it.
So, they left the faith. Or did they?

The "sad" truth is,
they didn't leave.
They found and remained in it.
Yet, somehow, the truth has been twisted to their 'liking'.
They didn't know or had forgotten that
what God had promised...
He fulfills it
in His Time,
not ours.

We need to return to the Bible,
the very Living Word of God, just like the Bereans.
Otherwise, we will continue to be deceived.
By whom?

The father of all lies.
His name is satan, the deceiver.
Do not underestimate his power to deceive.

It's time to wake up!

It has finally arrived!

After all these years of waiting... It has finally arrived!

The Spirit of God is now hovering over the surface of the earth.

He is doing what He is here for.
To set people free!

How do I receive this freedom?

Turn to Jesus.
Simply tell Him your struggles
and the areas that you want Him
to set you free.
Yes, that's just how simple it is!

It has come to pass!

John 8:32-37 (New International Version)

32Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

33They answered him, "We are Abraham's descendants" and have never been slaves of anyone. How can you say that we shall be set free?"

34Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. 35Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. 36So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. 37I know you are Abraham's descendants. Yet you are ready to kill me, because you have no room for my word.

Fear God

It is written,

"Fear God and keep his commandments,
for this is the whole duty of man."
Ecclesiastes 12:13

It is interesting,
but i need to share this...

"Since the day I become a believer in Christ Jesus,
the Lord would teach me through His Word.
Thereafter, He would confirm His teaching with me.

How?
Usually...
Through a servant of His.

It would often be like this...

I would have learnt something.
A church leader, a guest speaker,
a pastor etc... would talk about it as well."

Take heart

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3521/3239730713_fc926132c6.jpg

When it seems the world is up against you, take heart.
You are not alone.
Jesus suffered worst.
So, take heart.

When it seems you have made a mistake, take heart.
You are not alone.
Jesus suffered worst.
So, take heart.

When it seems your world has come to an end, take heart.
You are not alone.
Jesus suffered worst.
So, take heart.

The world...
went against Jesus,
mocked and crucified Him.

You have not suffered as much as Jesus.
The battle belongs to God.
So, take heart.

He will fight every battle in your life.
It has been won.
So, take heart.

Godlessness in the Last Days

Merriam-Webster's On-line Dictionary defines complacency as "self-satisfaction especially when accompanied by unawareness of actual dangers or deficiencies." This is the scenario we are in now. The thing is, many are reading and fulfilling it without knowing or understanding what it means. The Holy Scriptures provide us with a glimpse of things to come:

2 Timothy 3:1-9

1 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.

6 They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over weak-willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, 7 always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth. 8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these men oppose the truth—men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. 9 But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.

2 Timothy 4:1-8

1 In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge: 2 Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. 3 For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. 5 But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.

6 For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time has come for my departure. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.

Repent while we can

The Kingdom of God is near.
We can do or say anything we want while we are alive.
Nonetheless, we cannot escape death!

There is a God to be feared.
We can choose to reject God.
Nonetheless, we cannot escape the Judgement of God.

The truth is, we must repent while we can.
Before it is too late.
The time will come when our breath will be taken away.

There is a heaven;
there is a hell.
It is true.

Therefore, listen to God;
obey His voice.

Selah.

The Flood

1
When men began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, 2 the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. 3 Then the LORD said, "My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal; his days will be a hundred and twenty years."

4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.

5 The LORD saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. 6 The LORD was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain. 7 So the LORD said, "I will wipe mankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth—men and animals, and creatures that move along the ground, and birds of the air—for I am grieved that I have made them." 8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD.

9 This is the account of Noah.
Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked with God. 10 Noah had three sons: Shem, Ham and Japheth.

11 Now the earth was corrupt in God's sight and was full of violence. 12 God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways. 13 So God said to Noah, "I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth. 14 So make yourself an ark of cypress wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out. 15 This is how you are to build it: The ark is to be 450 feet long, 75 feet wide and 45 feet high. 16 Make a roof for it and finish the ark to within 18 inches of the top. Put a door in the side of the ark and make lower, middle and upper decks. 17 I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy all life under the heavens, every creature that has the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish. 18 But I will establish my covenant with you, and you will enter the ark—you and your sons and your wife and your sons' wives with you. 19 You are to bring into the ark two of all living creatures, male and female, to keep them alive with you. 20 Two of every kind of bird, of every kind of animal and of every kind of creature that moves along the ground will come to you to be kept alive. 21 You are to take every kind of food that is to be eaten and store it away as food for you and for them."

22 Noah did everything just as God commanded him.

The Ten Commandments

When God allows...

All of God's created beings can either choose to follow God or otherwise. We call this "The Freedom of Choice".

God will never go against a created being's personal choice i.e. you can either choose to hear and obey God or not at all.

Nonetheless, God being a Loving Heavenly Father, will convict a person's heart. If any still choose to go against His conviction, God will ultimately allow.

We need to know that His consent does not equate to "He is OK with it". Contrary to popular beliefs, when God allows, a person becomes accountable for his or her own personal choice.

That's the way I see it.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It is written,

1. But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. (Matthew 12:36)

2. So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God. (Romans 14:12)

3. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. (Hebrews 14:13)

4. Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you. (Hebrews 13:17)

5. But they will have to give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. (1 Peter 4:5)

a very sick world

Keep watch & pray.

It has been forewarned by Jesus.

1. Keep watch - so many wolves in disguise in sheep clothings. It's simply unbelieveable!!! Nonetheless, check them out with The Living Word of God. Do not accept anything outside The Holy Bible!

2. Pray - that we may escape what is ahead. Otherwise, I wonder, who can stand up against it? O God, have mercy on us.

Keep watch & pray.

The Word of our God Stands Forever!

http://oneyearbibleimages.com/end_times_.jpg

Dear Friends,

Everyone is accountable to God.

I have no intention to engage in any debate with anyone reading this blog. It is my personal conviction to raise awareness with regard to "The Second Coming of Jesus Christ" and the events that precede His return e.g. wars, famine, drought, nations rising against nations, plague, lies and deceptions of the evil one, deceiving even the elect! etc... by providing web links to various places in the world wide web.

Know that our battle is not against "flesh and blood". Therefore, let us be equipped with "the weapons of warfare" i.e. The Holy Bible, to discern "what is of and not of God".

It is written in Psalm 119:105, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path." We need The Word of God to stand in "The Last Battle" i.e. Armageddon!

Isaiah 40:7-9 (New International Version)

7 The grass withers and the flowers fall,
because the breath of the LORD blows on them.
Surely the people are grass.

8 The grass withers and the flowers fall,
but the word of our God stands forever."

9 You who bring good tidings to Zion,
go up on a high mountain.
You who bring good tidings to Jerusalem,
lift up your voice with a shout,
lift it up, do not be afraid;
say to the towns of Judah,
"Here is your God!"

Revelation 1:7-8, 17-18 (New International Version)

7Look, he is coming with the clouds,
and every eye will see him,
even those who pierced him;
and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen.

8"I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty."

17When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: "Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. 18I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.

Your-brother-in-Christ Jesus,
Caleb
